Various PAROL designs at Plaza Quezon

People always look forward on Christmas Celebrations.  As the 'ber month approaches, everyone start looking for gifts, clothes to wear, foods to prepare and decorations to have a festive looks of their homes.

If you pass along Diego Ciera Avenue in Las Pinas on a 'ber month, you will notice the different Christmas Lantern display, with twinkling lights and festive looks.  You would see people also making lanterns and preparing at the Park  of Plaza Quezon which gives us a headstart for us to decorate our home too.

Numbers of booth are being installed to display these in different designs, shape and sizes.
 

They are operated by members of Samahan ng Magpaparol every Christmas season.
Aside from selling different designs of Parol, you may also buy parts only where you can make your own.  They will also guide you on how to do it.

They also offer other services as well like Designs, Installation and finishing in case you need something diiferent.

One of them is Joey de Castro, who also leaves within the area so it will be easy to look for him in case you will be interested of placing your Lantern request.

Pallera Clan also dominate the Parol Making in the area.
Started during Marcos Time, by Moises de Leon, passed on to Ruperto de Leon Pallera and now, Zaldy Pallera and Eboy Pallera, who also offer Parol made in Capiz.

Festive Church Ground at Bamboo Organ Parish on Simbang Gabi


Also known as Bamboo Organ Parish, St. Joseph Parish at Las Pinas City is always been a tourist destination on any celebrations & Festive occassions.

This Christmas season, aside from the Bamboo Organ itself that tourists wanted to see, the church ground do looked like a park where people stay after each Simbang Gabi.

The church compound were also decorated with bright lanterns.  The traditional Belen were also an eye catcher where people do their picture takings and selfie shots.
 

Various Food Stalls that are Nipa Hut like are also available from day one of Simbang Gabi .  You would enjoy the traditional Kakanin during this season like Puto Bumbong, Suman sa Lihiya and Bibingka.

Most of the Staff were also dressed in Filipiniana costume to goes with their Filipiniana theme and with their food stall made of Bamboo.

Few days before Christmas, people flocks to Malls & different Bazaars to do their shopping.
